Highlights

The event featured the presentation of the Twin City Future Innovation Manufacturing Hub project – a joint initiative within the Interreg Slovakia-Austria programme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Presented by Markus Kleinfercher, Senior Project Manager at EIT Manufacturing East, together with partners from Austria, Slovakia and other regions.

The aim is to develop a joint innovation strategy in the manufacturing sector, test pilot programmes for start-ups and education, and establish a scalable cooperation platform that extends beyond the SK-AT region. This commitment is creating new perspectives for a networked and more competitive European manufacturing landscape.

The Twin City Hub (2C FIMH) project was represented by project partners EIT Manufacturing East and the Slovak Univeristy of Technology. The aim of the project is to strengthen innovation cooperation between Austria and Slovakia, as well as with other EU innovation ecosystems.
