Workshop Wind Laboratory – Exploring Wind Energy Hands-on

On 24 October 2026, the “Wind Laboratory” workshop will officially launch at the Aurelium Experimental Centre in Bratislava.

The workshop was developed and tested by the Vienna Technical Museum and handed over to Aurelium in September 2026 as part of the Twin City Future Innovation Manufacturing Hub (2C FIMH), along with a wind turbine model kit and teaching materials.

Participants gain hands-on experience with wind energy and electricity generation: they will build a small wind turbine, generate measurable electricity and experiment with how the positioning of multiple wind turbines can affect energy production.

The workshop combines STEM education, hands-on experimentation, and technical teamwork, and brings an educational format developed in Vienna to Bratislava.
