Exciting ideas, inspiring discussions with experts, and plenty of potential for innovation

During a panel discussion on the topic “How do you prepare a startup for external financing?” held on June 17, 2026, in Bratislava, key questions were addressed:
What do investors look for in the early stages?
When is the right time to seek financing?
What mistakes should startups avoid?

The projects presented impressively showcased the diversity of the innovation landscape at Comenius University in Bratislava—ranging from VR solutions for interior design to software for transplant immunology and more ethical testing models, as well as innovative materials and digital accounting tools.

We were particularly pleased to have the opportunity to present our Twin City Hub project as well as the “Prototype to Industry” pilot programme. A big thank you to Lenka Bednarova and the team at the Comenius University Incubator for the invitation! In front of students, researchers, and entrepreneurs, we demonstrated how innovative ideas can find their way into industrial applications—across borders between Austria and Slovakia. Thank you to our partner SPECTRA—Center of Excellence EU, Zuzana Ladzianska, for collaboration.
