The Twin City Future Innovation Manufacturing Hub (2C FIMH) is looking for schools, universities, vocational training and continuing education institutions in Austria and Slovakia to participate as testbed partners in the next phase of the Twin City EdTech Programme.

Following a Europe-wide selection process, three innovative EdTech solutions have been selected for the pilot phase: Levio, IICT and Robo Wunderkind. We are now looking for suitable education partners to test one of these solutions in a real learning environment and provide valuable feedback from practice.

IICT – Hands-on Industrie 4.0

IICT offers hands-on training with hardware, virtual labs, and smart manufacturing applications, centered on future technologies such as IoT, Private 5G, and Embedded AI.

Suitable for:

  • Universities and technical vocational education
  • STEM- and technology-focused learning environments
  • IoT, Private 5G, and Embedded AI
  • Pilot duration: 4 days for 10–30 participants

 

Robo Wunderkind – Coding Through Play and Robotics

Robo Wunderkind combines playful building, coding and STEM learning. With modular robotics kits, children can build and programme their own robots and put their ideas into practice.

The solution supports not only coding and technology skills, but also creativity, logical thinking and problem-solving skills, making it suitable for schools, workshops and extracurricular learning activities.

Suitable for:

  • Schools and extracurricular education providers
  • Children and young people interested in robotics and coding
  • STEM/STEAM-oriented learning activities
  • Workshops and hands-on learning formats

 

 

Levio – Adaptive Learning with AI

Levio transforms existing teaching materials into individual learning paths, supporting learners in working through content according to their individual learning level.

Suitable for:

  • Schools, universities and continuing education institution
  • Classroom and self-directed learning
  • Pilot duration: 3 weeks to 2 months

A cross-border innovation bridge

The pilot programme is part of the “Twin City Future Innovation Manufacturing Hub” and is being developed and carried out jointly by accent Incubator (Austria), EIT Manufacturing (Austria), InQb – STU (Slovakia), and SAPIE (Slovakia).

The goal is to strengthen cross-border cooperation between Austria and Slovakia and to connect startups with manufacturing companies in order to accelerate innovation in the fields of hardware and advanced manufacturing.
