About the “Industry meets Makers” format

Roland Vorarberger, Lens2

Industry meets Makers (IMM) is an open innovation initiative that brings together leading industrial companies with creative minds from the maker scene – start-ups, SMEs, freelance developers, designers, students, researchers, hobbyists and more. Based on real technological challenges (so-called “briefings”) in areas such as AI, robotics, IoT and Industry 4.0, both sides develop innovative solutions together in a five-month cooperation phase with the aim of building lasting partnerships.

IMM @ Twin City Hub

The task of In2Make Industry meets Makers GmbH as part of the Twin City Hub project is to share the experience that the organization has gained over several years of implementing IMM with partners in Slovakia. We have set ourselves the goal of jointly carrying out two successful transnational IMM pilot runs by the end of the project, involving partners from both countries and holding events at both locations.
