How do you manage the transition from a prototype to viable, scalable production?

 

In June, our startup teams— AERICOMM, TAGBASE.io, and Cyan Cycle —met at the accent Makerspace for Sprint 5 to explore manufacturing technologies, machines, and processes for product development.

The workshop was led by our sprint leader, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Peter Križan—an expert in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technologies, and robotics, and the head of the Institute of Production Engineering and Quality at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.

How can you participate?

Under a new name—the **Prototype to Industry Program**—the initiative will continue from October 2026 through March 2027 and will once again support 4 to 5 startups through an intensive incubation program as they develop their prototypes into validated, production-ready products.
