How to test, reflect on and iterate your solution in a structured way while adapting to changing circumstances and opportunities?

The fourth sprint of the 2C FIMH Sprint & Roadshow Series took place at the accent Makerspace, bringing together participating hardware startups for a workshop focused on communication, reflection, and preparation for upcoming public presentations and events.

Originally planned as a session centred on testing and iteration, the workshop evolved during the day in response to the immediate needs of the participating teams. Alongside discussions on prototype development, the startups focused on improving how they communicate and present their solutions to different audiences.

The startups— Aericomm, CyanCycle, and Tagbase— worked on refining their value propositions and tailoring their pitches for different formats. They also sought practical feedback from within the group and discussed the current status of their prototypes, upcoming milestones, and specific next steps in development.

The workshop was led by expert Jonas Vallentin, whose flexible and responsive approach allowed the programme to adapt to the specific needs of the participants and maintain a productive working environment.

What happens next?

The final sprint of the current series, “Design for Manufacturing,” will focus on the transition from prototype development towards manufacturable products, while startups continue their roadshow visits.

More information about the Prototype to Industry Program, as well as the option to pre-register, is now available.

How to participate?

While the current programme cycle is coming to an end, preparations for the next round are already underway. Continuing under a new name — the Prototype to Industry Programme — the initiative will run from October 2026 to March 2027 and will again support 4–5 hardware startups through an intensive incubation format aimed at helping teams transform prototypes into validated, manufacturable products.
